Friday 10th October 2014 - Kimmy's Mobile Petting Zoo visited pre-school! A fantastic opportunity for the children (and staff!) to handle some exotic animals. A really good morning for children, parents and staff.
Tuesday 11th November 2014 - We were very lucky to have a 'planned' visit from paramedics Karen & Abbie who spent the morning playing with the children and kindly allowed the children to see inside their ambulance and have their photo's taken 'driving' the vehicle! Of course, Shelley and Lucy had to have a go too!

Children in Need Friday 13th November 2015.
Staff and children came to pre-school wearing pyjama's or super hero outfits and donated £1 to Children in Need. Children also took part in a number of "Pudsey" activities for a fun packed morning.

19.11.15 Children have made decorations for our Christmas tree displayed at St Mary's Church, Somersham.

Maxine and Zoggy came to visit us at pre-school to talk to children about water safety. We learned how we walk around water, we hold an adult's hand and we follow the rules at the swimming pool.
Children were also given prizes for answering questions correctly!

05.05.16 Staff enjoyed a relaxing day on the river at Dedham! Parent's of children who left our setting last Summer very kindly gave us a voucher for an hours boating and lunch in the restaurant as a thank you gift! We thoroughly enjoyed the day and were extremely grateful to all parent's who contributed!

Pre-school was invited to take part in the Queens 90th Birthday celebrations at St Mary's Church, Barking, Ipswich on 4th June. We made a window display for the Church window along with other organisations operating in the village.
The event raised over £400 for the Church.

Children have been creating an Autumnal Display for the Autumn Pumpkin Festival at St Mary's Church Somersham!
The event helped raise £700 towards the Church lighting fund.

Children presented Jo Hakes, organiser of the St Mary's Church, Somersham Autumn Pumpkin Festival, with a hamper made up with donations from parents.
The hampers were then sent to the Lighthouse Family Centre which is a charitable organisation based in Suffolk, UK providing emotional support to women and their children experiencing domestic abuse in their personal or family relationships.

Children presented another hamper to Vanessa Edwards, a representative for St Mary's Church Barking.
These hampers will be handed over to the local food bank during their Harvest Festival on Sunday 16th October at 2.30pm, everyone is welcome.

Staff and children wore pyjamas or onesies to pre-school for a small donation of £1 to raise money for BBC Children in Need. We were also lucky to have a visit from Pudsey Bear himself! Pudsey bought stickers, badges and sweets for the children to show his thanks for the money we had raised! Many thanks to Chantal Ellis and Asda Stowmarket for allowing Pudsey to visit!

Today (23rd) we had a visit from Suzi at Moo Music.
Suzi encouraged the children to sing, dance and move to music using a variety of props.
The bubbles seemed to be the favourite!
