Today we found some leaves outside that had fallen off the tree and decided to make some pictures with paint using the leaves we found.

This term we have been focusing on things under the sea, making lots of different crafts and messy trays, from making fish, mermaids, sharks, jelly fish, octopus and more, we have had so much fun and learnt a lot about the ocean.  Today we've been using our imagination making cupcakes with our playdough, first we rolled it out and made a ball, after we found some bun cases and placed our cupcake into them, we added glitter and sprinkles and put them in the baking tray to put in the oven. The children waited a few minutes before getting them out and started to hand them out to pretend to eat. we've had so much fun today playing with our dinosaur slime tray, talking about what the slime feels like and watching it slide down the dinosaurs back. The children all grabbed a paint brush and painted the box to make a puppet show! we chose "we're going on a bear hunt" the children then provided a puppet show for all our friends. They remembered the story and used the puppets as props.   We were having so much fun with the parachute this afternoon, making it go up to the sky and down to the ground, moving fast & slow, everyone was using their listening ears and followed instructions. Afterwards we laid the parachute on the floor and went around the room to find objects to match the correct colours, we worked as a team and helped each other. Well done everyone!   All The children have had sooo much fun this week with our sponsored dance , we have all had our dancing shoes on and joining us has been several ballerinas, Jasmine, Belle, Rapunzel, Snow White, A Breakdancer, Elsa, a unicorn , Fame/hippy , some glittery costumes and some dancing costumes. We have raised an amazing £650 a big thank you to everyone who sponsored our little dancers and joining in with our week of fundraising. **From September we will be open 9.30-3.30 every day!** We still have some spaces available for 2 and 3 year olds. Get in touch to secure your place for September [email protected]  We have had such a lovely day today celebrating world book day, dressing up as our favourite book characters, we have been making book marks and colouring in different characters sheets, we have also had a big treat having some popcorn & watching some of the books we have dressed up as.   We’ve had so much fun on Valentine’s Day, we started our day talking about the people we love, going around the circle letting each child tell us, we’ve been making lovely cards using Stickers and paint, we then all sat at the table and decorated some biscuits, we’ve also had pink playdough and a valentines tuff tray!
